DescriptionFirst Cover post of the year, and YES! It has to be a Cable Cover to start the year off right :)I’m a huge fan of Michael Ryan’s unique art style so even though this Cover doesn’t have Cable in it, I still had to have it because it’s still a Cable Cover lol! This one is of Brood Mother and I just love how he drew her with the scythe and her deadly expressionless face. Social/Sharing |

Congrats on your first piece of 2021, David. I totally get the "It doesn't feature the character but it's still part of the series!" methodology! When you collect art from specific characters from a specific title, you have to be open to acquiring examples that won't always be considered "top tier", but they're still fun to own and enjoy.

Happy Cable New Year, Mentee !!! I'm a big fan of Michael Ryan, and it's very nice to see him inked so beautifully here. You even get some Kirby crackle! Who cares that Cable isn't on there, that is an awesome image !!

This is a super cool cover! The folds and shadows of her cloak are awesome. Be careful, you might start collecting Mother Brood covers now! 😀
