I think it's possible the artist might be Harrel Gray who was only credited for one cover Amazing Science Fiction Magazine July 1960. Some of Grayam's artwork appears in that issue. I was comparing the one cover Harrel Gray did with interiors from Fantastic and Amazing and to me anyway it looks like he could be the artist.
I went thru every issue of Amazing Science Fiction published in 1960 and it's pretty clear that Leo Summers is indeed Grayam and Varga.Maybe the publisher wanted the readers to think they were looking at different artists work instead of the same guy for the whole issue?
