Continuing with Spidey week, tonight I am posting both the cover and an interior page from Amazing Spider-Man vol 5 #3 by Ryan Ottley ... from a GREAT story that should have lasted a LOT longer, where Spider-Man and Peter are split into two separate people by a device called the Isotopic Genome Accelerator.

The best part about this was that there was also a personality split, with Peter keeping all the high moral fiber (and angst), but Spider-Man enjoying all the fun-loving aspects without much thought for the consequences of his actions.

As readers, we got both a happy-go-lucky Spider-Man having adventures --- like battling the Tri-Sentinel in the panel page I am also posting tonight --- AND a Peter Parker who was able to explore a more normal life with the people he cares for.

But yeah, I wish it had gone on a lot longer.
Sooooo many missed opportunities.

I've always been a sucker for the classic "hero vs his alter ego" trope, so getting one of Spidey is the bees knees!
