DescriptionSpidey Week continues with this great battle cover from 1994 featuring Spider-Man, Beast and the Hobgoblin.I love how the image is framed by a thick black border, and how the three characters all break frame. It's like they are bursting through a doorway or a big picture window. Scott Kolins and Bob Wiacek make a great artistic team here. (Thanks, Dan, for selling this one to me!) Social/Sharing |

Power Pack? Where's Power Pack? I only see Spidey, Beast and Hobgoblin. As if that wasn't enough! Great looking piece and a fun early look at the start of Kolins' career. Well done, Paul!

I owned this at one point. It must have had 2-3 owners before me and you. Had I known all Spidey covers would eventually end up with you, I would have sold it directly back then lol

I dig that fierce battle-smile from Beast. These three characters doing all-out, chaotic battle on the cover is so fantastic. And I would 110% read a buddy series where Spidey and Beast fight crime together, and casually break the land speed banter record along the way. COMIC CODE APPROVED! Big congrats!

Yup, I agree, it truly is like they're breaking through a frame, or a big panel! It makes the dynamic image of the characters feel even more dynamic and provides a great 3D effect I love seeing in OA. A worthy cover image! Congrats!

Great action shot of a great trio of characters. It's fun to see Kolins' work from before he developed the style he became famous for on the Flash.
