Karate Kid vs. Spider-Girl by Ron�Frenz

I first saw Ron Frenz's work in an issue of Thor back when he first started drawing the book and I was just starting to really get into comics. I loved his run on that series, and I have since enjoyed his runs on Spider-Man, Superman, Thunderstrike, and of course, Spider-Girl! Ron has been on my "to be commissioned" list for a while and I was so happy to get him to contribute to my "Karate Kid vs." collection this year! I asked Ron to choose between Thunderstrike and Spider-Girl for the opponent here, and he went with Ms. Mayday Parker! And I absolutely LOVE this commission! The action is dynamic and the colors are gorgeous! Big thanks to Catskill Comics for helping me set this up, and an even bigger thanks to Ron for his outstanding work!

May Parker has the same powers as her father, plus a more highly developed Spider-Sense. She has also trained in the martial arts with both Elektra and the Ladyhawks. And of course she has web-shooters! So yeah, Val Armorr is in for one heck of a fight. Val's superior fighting skills and Legion Flight Ring will hopefully help him win, but who knows?

Once she gets her web on his leg, it's all over. This is a great comission. I have to get on his list, he's putting out awesome stuff. Congrats!

Getting it on his leg before he nails her is indeed the trick. I love Spider-Girl but my money is on VAL all the way

He does have the advantage of Future Karate and a flight ring, but that Spidey Tingle and web shooters...I think we're gonna need another commission to settle this. ;)

Great Idea In fact maybe Travis could start a new theme Karate Kid Vs ...... One Minute Later ( with apologies to Mr Finn !) lol,,,

That's a great addition to your "KK vs" collection. So dynamic with the great poses exhibiting a strong sense of movement - Frenz's forte! Congrats, Travis!
