Outstanding!  Got lotsa villains surrounding the featured shot of DD as only Byne can render.  Big piece, too, right?!  The way he incorporated "MAN WITHOUT FEAR" into the background...wonderful stuff.  Big congrats!

Thanks man! Yeah the piece is 18" x 24" so a handful (but on the plus side - standard framing dimensions!) You gotta love the perspective work and even after cramming every conceivable white space with ink, he still found time to add some civilians at street level. His attention to detail is unreal.

So much incredible visual texture to process and revel in here, with the Eisner-ian "cityscape text" taking this beautiful thing to the next level. (I hear that sometimes, after Daredevil faces off with Grizzly, Spidey will swing past and web up the edges of that "F" a little bit so that it'll read "Man Without Bear".  Spidey's goofy like that, but DD -loves- it...)  I'm obsessed by the "WITHOUT" neon sign, and how John thickened it at the bottom (by the "T") to match the top (which he had to do to get the "W" to fit...?).  I just love crawling through this and looking at the details...  SUCH a great piece, Eranga!  Fantastic pick up!  Mega-congrats!

Absolutely dunno how I missed this on your CAF before. Came across it in your portfolio and was super taken by the layout and ingenious titling. Brilliant! Congrats!

John Byrne's commissions are always a treat and this one is no exception. Love this massive image of Daredevil swinging above the city while a crew of his greatest enemies surrounds him on the rooftops down below. The Cobra, Mr. Hyde, Bullseye and the Jester have all gathered together and one can be sure they plan to make life miserable for the blind superhero. I love the detail Byrne added by drawing signs on the buildings and shadows on the rooftop that spell out DD's famous motto:" "Man Without Fear." Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
