Description

This cel comes from the Japanese animated (Toei) X-Men pilot episode "Pryde of the X-Men" from 1988. The 80's was when Wolverine's brown and tan costumed debuted, specifically in Uncanny X-men 139 drawn by John Byrne. It was brought to life for the first time in this short lived cartoon which was Wolverine's second animated appearance behind Spider-man and his Amazing Friends (unless you count the Secret Wars toy commercial). Even though the cel is over 30 years old, there's still just enough detail that makes this image command attention and one of the best "Hero" shots of him I've ever seen. Super pumped to have this in my collection!

Great Pride of X Wolverine cel, I haven't ventured to any of that series . . . Yet!!  Ha!  At some point I hope to join that club.  Great addition to your collection.

Suh-weet!  Great that you got the colors here - definitely Wolverine's best costume IMO!  Congrats!
