DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11.5x17.5" artboard features pen and ink w/inkwash original art by Val Mayerik for Monsters Unleashed #10, published by Marvel/Curtis Magazines Feb. 1975. Art is for page 21 from The 11:10 To Murder story featuring Frankenstein's Monster and features seven panels, showing Frankenstein removing knife from his hand and attacking man he threw if before knocking down door to President's train compartment. Frankenstein is seen in every panel. Top margin has faint Monsters Unleashed title in pencil and inked issue/page numbers. Margins have scattered editorial notations. Back has Marvel copyright stamp and title stamp w/inked issue/page numbers. Artboard shows scattered handling/corner tip wear w/pin hole at top center. Art remains clean and Exc. Mayerik has signed at bottom margin, adding "To Chris" inscription. Social/Sharing |
