Description

I am not a great fan of Walter Velez including the covers I had seen for the various Stainless Steel Rat books- which is interesting because i am a real fan of Harry Harrison's Stainless Steel Rat series where all the international supercops are former super criminals.
That said I had never seen his cover for the first book done for the Orion reprint (since I already had that in an early paperback edition)- once I saw it I had to add it to the collection

Yeah I am not a gret fan of Velez but this one I liked and as a Stainless Steel Rat fan it wa perfect! I far prefer the more releastic paintigns done of the Rat to the earlier ones done for pyramid etc.
