You gotta love it when artists create sketches of Wolverine slashing through an opponent, but never think that's quite enough, so they throw in a little bit of red blood spatter to take the graphic violence up a notch! 😆

Thanks for the comment buddy! The red spatter was preprinted and Mike filled in the blanks ;)

I like how he signed it in red too, really ties it all together.

Oh wow, I didn't notice the spatter on the 2nd thumbnail! It appeared as a blank so I didn't see any need to click on that one. Still, my point stands, because I've seen plenty of artists do that. In this case, I can say that Grell found a very creative use for that spatter!

I love the way Grell drew those bone claws! Putting the joints in makes good anatomical sense, and it takes the gruesome factor up to 11. And the way the hands are out, pleading...He really gave you a Wolvie Moment. You've got a very cool friend. :) Congrats!
