DescriptionEven when I was a wee lad I couldn't resist buying a comic for its cover. It started for me with Neal Adams' incredible run on "Action Comics" and "Superman" in the late 60's and early 70's. Many fine artists have graced those covers since then but for me, no one had ranked up there with Adams until Kevin Nowlan's recent twelve cover run on "Adventures of Superman". Really beautiful and inspired work, it's difficult to pick a favorite but I'd certainly place this one near the top.Social/Sharing |
