Fred Harman Red Ryder Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-29-41 (NEA, 1941). Red Ryder is grief stricken when he finds out that his aunt, Duchess, is dead. This shocking daily was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 24.5" x 5.5". Slight toning, fold crease in middle of the strip, pinholes, editorial notes with possible title "The Skeptics" written in upper margin, spot staining, and handling wear.
