Louvin Brothers by Erik Kriek

Not only is the Dutch artist Erik Kriek a wonderful artist, we also share the love for horror and murder stories as well as country music. When I found his country star artwork in a gallery I originally went to Hank Williams and Dolly as obvious choices only to realize they were also gone. So I strolled through the available artwork and stumbled upon the Louvin Brothers. Which I have to admit I had not heart of before (shame on me). So I did some research on their music and backstory which helped to really appreciate the art.
For those interested: Ira on the left had a massive alcohol abuse problems which forced the brothers to split, therefore the bottle, snake and gun on his side
