Issue 18 is my favorite Ghost Rider issue. I just love the darkness of it from beginning to end. And Styge is the perfect Ghost Rider villain.

Back in 2016, my daughter was due to be born, and so I had to convert my office, which housed a sprawling collection of vintage GI Joe and other toys, into her room. I sold many of them, which I regretted later, but it gave me proceeds to purchase this piece from Anthony Snyder. Now that I focus more on collecting comic art than toys, that regret has diminished and I’m so glad to have purchased this piece before prices had exploded years later.

Texerira killed it on Ghost Rider. His take was so gritty and dynamic, and he nailed pretty much every splash image he did of our favorite fiery biker. Floating the head behind Blaze while he ponders his situation is perfect. Great find. Congrats!

Ghost Rider = Tex plain and simple. His 90's version was always a favorite. That gritty texture, was spot on. Great pin up page.
