Description

For a long time I had wanted an earlier Avengers page from the silver age.This first appearance
book page with the time traveling supervillain Kang, fit the bill perfectly.I liked Kirbys earlier use of simple line work in these stories we read as kids and of course the inker Dick Ayers played an integral part of the finished piece.I think it was around 2016 SDCC that my wife and I purchased this piece and happy to share this with fellow CAF members.Large twice-up page 13.5" x 21".

Evokes the Marvel magic of the Silver Age as Jack and Stan unifies the universe and various titles! Kang is such a classic Avengers foe throughout the entire team history.

Great page - love Kang as a villain and hope to see him in a big MCU role at some point in the FF arc.

The only sub-space I can access is Jimmy John's. :KicksRock: Wow, Avengers 8. What an incredible and historic Kirby page! I love the layout and styling here. Kirby and Ayers were a fantastic team. Huge congrats!

Incredible page from a historic issue! Kang was so mysterious - as is Thor's comment on the level of science known to modern man (perhaps not his specialist area of knowledge).

KKKKKAAAANNNNGGGG!!! Always dug this guy, I was truly hoping he was going to be the next major villain in the MCU. Explaining why Ant-Man & the Wasp weren't in the original Avengers. The Invaders being MIA,etc. Congrads! Such a great page.
