The gothic romance of the Marvel Age in full splendor with dark foreboding shadows, a grim atmosphere, and a flourish of angst. Colan and Shores elevated what Marvel comics could accomplish with each successive issue.
She took off more than just the mask. Lol.
Ditto what Marcus said. The contrast between light and shadow is so perfectly balanced. That is a master of black spotting at work, right there! Shores on Colan in this Daredevil run is just sublime.

Heart-breaking. That last panel is so haunting. Colan and Shores were brilliant together, and Colan's magnificent storytelling is pitch-perfect for the ending of that amazing story arc. Congrats!
