Description

Mixed media on Vellum (Gouache, Watercolor, Prismacolor, paint pen, gold leaf and razor blade) 8 1/4� x 10 1/8". Frequently it is said, you have to see the original to really appreciate this work. This is very true of this piece due to the vividness of the mixed media. I love the way the natural background is rendered, and the gold leaf on the drawing really "pops."

Not sure I've ever seen him put this much work into a piece before. The detail and colors are so striking.
