Meet Mr. Moxy - Illustration

Moxy was a strip that was kind of a Pogo knock-off, but by a really talented artist. David Gantz first had Moxy published as a strip in a free comics supplement given out at California supermarkets. That went on for just a few issues. He also tried to get it into regular newspapers and this illustration was for that. The paper could run this illustration with the information about the paper put on the easel as a stat. But he was not successful getting it into more papers, which is too bad, because the strip looked good.
