Description
Hey I got a Promethea splash.. Granted not from the original Alan Moore run, but then again, I didn't spend $1200 either. :)

Thought the original story was more of a distant third to Top Ten and Tom Strong, in any event...

I gotta say, if Alan Moore only wrote "...And it wasn't my idea"  I would not pay the $200 per word rate either.  However, I think that you will get a JH Williams page one day.  Such is the way of the ABC collector.

I just find it fascinating that characters Moore has a stake in are once again in the DC Universe.  Great splash putting  such a solemn moment so in context of the large scale.

I had a two page splash of Promethea, but traded it away from some other comic art. Funny that I can't remember what I traded it for...

Looks like you know me very well, my brother Marcus. I already purchased that one page splash of Grace-Promethea (by JH Williams III) threatening the Mayor. Haven't got it yet.

75 bucks a letter is a steal. I mean you get 6 vowels. 6!!! Plus the super rare sometimes Y as number 7.

Again, you guys are light years above me. I still don't understand the beginning of this thread:

I gotta say, if Alan Moore only wrote "...And it wasn't my idea"

"Clueless" Robert

The published splash only has those 5 words written on it.

I get it now. I was doing permutations of 'Promethea' and 'Alan Moore' and 'ABC Comics' and was truly clueless.

Now, thanks to you, I am up to speed. Many thanks! Robert
