Steve Ditko’s The Creeper - Tony Salmons

I’m very happy to add a Salmons piece to my collection and even better that it’s Tony paying homage to the great Steve Ditko. His loose and energetic brushwork is always inspiring. Seeing this piece made me think this could be a long lost 90’s Vertigo masterpiece. It’s easy to imagine this unsettling Creeper starring in a book written by Jamie Delano or Peter Milligan. Thanks to CAF member David Jakoi for the heads up on these pieces during the Phil Hester Comic Art Live presentation last week.
