Cover is for the Spanish edition of "El Hombre Enmascarado" #38, which was published in Spain by Valenciana as part of their Del Colosos Comic line in 1980. Artboard has image area measuring 8.75x12.75" showing art for "The Unknown Commander" cover art shows The Phantom posing in front of Black Panther head w/pirates sword fighting in front. Left margin has handwritten instruction in pencil and "No. 38" designation on lower right corner. Artboard has some lt. aging/handling wear, but art remains bright, clean and VF. A great example from Andres. Unique. Cover and contents were exclusive to the Spanish market and saw no US counterpart. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this cover art was created for.
