Every panel is a highlight panel! It's like Perez has 4 hands to draw with so much detail in each one. The 3rd and last panel are particularly tight! That middle panel is a power packed extravaganza!

It was truly a WIN, WIN, Carlo. It is not often that two people can say and can write that to each other. As you wrote to me, the Marcos inks make this page truly stand out. One has to look only at the backgrounds to see how he worked his magic on top of Perez's pencils. It is so enhanced by the strike from the Grim Reaper onto the Beast in that middle panel. To paraphrase Shooter, 'you are not even worth the flat of my blade for killing, dolt'. Shooter, Perez, and Marcos were truly a great creative team, and I hope that you enjoy this page for a long time.
what can i say? a great page from the high point of the perez/marcos run on the book. great story, great characters, great art. i know you wanted something like this for a long time! congratulations to you and philip.

I'm so so happy that you realized this collecting goal, and what a page! I love Perez's Beast, and having him featured in four panels is so cool. Then of course that last panel is pure magic. Thanks for sharing! (And it's time for a new 23-year goal I guess).

Great page from one of my Favorite Perez Avengers issues! The Perez/ Marcos team on Avengers were among the Best teams in comics!
Congratulations on meeting your collecting goal, with a really wonderful page. This was at a point when Perez was really gaining mastery I think...and also the page is critically advancing the subplot of the Wonderman's origin.
