Bertram's illustrative linework sparks and detonates the imagination. Full of splendor in world and story building in every page. This page is staged very well to show how big and massive the man with the ax is compared to the slight panels of the other characters.
Just so much emotional weight to this scene.
Absolutely stunning page. I have yet to see anything from Ian that I wouldn't love to have in my own collection. Congrats!
