Description

Very Historic panel page from the first appearance of Conan, from issue #1. Written in 1970 by Roy Thomas and drawn by the great Barry Windsor-Smith (known as Barry Smith at this time).

Conan is a imprisoned and shown in 3 of the 4 panels.

The first pic shows the page with an overlay. The upper left panel #1 was changed for publication. My second pic shows the page without the overlay, with a different panel #1 with Conan laying in a different position. Both the overlay and the panel underneath are original art.

I can now make 2 check marks off my Bucket List (1st Conan and BWS page).

I am tremendously blessed and lucky to now be the caretaker for this page.

Very big mahalo to Federico for making a cash/trade deal happen.

Bonus art from BWS. A four panel page with five panels! The pencil art untouched by Adkins is also a nice hidden joy to behold.
