Description

George McManus created the Newlyweds and drew the strip, in Sunday format only, in the 19-teens. Although he discontinued the Newlyweds when he began Bringing Up Father, his brother, Charles, picked up the characters and drew it as a daily strip. This is a scarce example of Charles McManus' own work.
