DescriptionBooster Gold taking on the Rainbow Raider from the first BG series. Fans forget that Booster Gold was the first new, post-Crisis hero created in the DCU.And true to the early Booster Gold stories, there's a subplot of how Booster can get respect but also cash in somehow on his name and brand. Some great images of Booster here by Dan Jurgens, who created the character in 1986 as a commentary on what if someone who was motivated by self-interest more than helping others became a hero? Since then Booster has gone on to become more respected/altruistic and is now a fixture in the DCU. Social/Sharing |

Skeets is going to bail him out, right? Jurgens was just the right artist for Booster's stories that were always fun capers. Booster better get those paintings back before the auction begins!
