Baller page.
Nice page Jason!
If Forge ever gets struck by lightning, Storm would be the prime suspect. Portacio's linework and layout is 90's style bold and edgy.
If you asked me what stands out most in my mind from Portacio's run on Uncanny, it's the breakup of Storm and Forge. As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best pages from that run. Congrats!
Couldn't agree more, I really enjoyed these two lovebirds together, they made a great story over the years. Such a great find, congrats on getting a piece of their story.
Nice page!
I love pages like this. What makes these heroes so special, to me at least, is not their powers but rather who they are underneath the costumes. With the X-Men especially, what made them great is that they were at their core, a family, and much like Spider-Man's rich backstory, so to are the X-Men's personal relationships the foundation upon which their longtime popularity is built. The scene happening on this page is absolutely devastating for any fan of Ororo!
Totally agree - Storm and Forge together was great! Some swee pages throughout their tenure, including some by Portacio, like this one! Congrats!
Great, quiet page. Pacheco's Uncanny was a bit hit and miss, but the hits were fantastic!
