DescriptionRed Hulk vs. Thor is a battle for the ages! Back when the Red Hulk first appeared on the scene, nobody knew his identity, and all everyone did know was that he kicked butt and took names wherever he went. Taking down the likes of She-Hulk, Iron Man, the Watcher, the Abomination, and even the Hulk, it finally came time for the red brute to take on the God of Thunder! What resulted was an awesome, and somewhat controversial, slugfest between these two powerhouses! At the time (and even now) I found this image incredibly striking, as the Red Hulk takes Thor into space and beats the thunder god with his own hammer; a feat rarely seen, if ever! The technical aspect about whether Red Hulk should have been able to wield Mjolnir, is still a topic debated!Anyway, Ed McGuinness' art shines once more on this page, and throughout much of the series! I've said it before, but I'm always looking for pages from McGuinness' time on Hulk; just great art overall! Social/Sharing |

If they are in space and there is no gravity, is it really weilding Mojnjir? Nevertheless, a great McGuinness battle page showing the power level of Red Hulk going at it with Thor and getting in a major uppercut.

And so begins the debate haha! I'm not going to allow myself to get sucked in to arguing about it, though I do have feelings on the matter!

Wow, killer page!! Thor's hammer looks so tiny in Red Hulk's hand. I think that, worthy or not, Mjolnir just thought to itself, "I'm gonna argue with THIS guy? Me thinkest NOT."

McGuiness kicks butt! Or, in this case, swings hammer!

Now that is an uppercut. URU-THOOM! Kicking Thor's butt with his own hammer? Tough, but fair (and worthy, I guess?). This is a really cool McGuinness Thor/Hulk battle page. And Farmer did a great job on the inks, as he does. Congrats!

Great McG action packed storytelling! And Thor looks just as shocked as the rest of us that Rulk can wield Mjolnir! What's up with that?! This dude's a baddie...right?! I guess we shall see :) Congrats, Simon!
