Space action and adventure by Kane for DC was a given with his extensive GL work and coming off the Star Hawks strip. For Superman, he applied those great anatomy drawings he polished up on in Marvel titles such as ASM. One on the best cover designers of the 70's, Kane adds dramatic dynamism to everything he touched. The way Superman does a curl in flight to that Superhero landing people now have seen too much of, Kane was on these visual cues ahead of his time.
