Description
This is the original final finished artwork drawn by Michael Zeck, in which I got to choose the character for winning item on Ebay. The character I chose was Kraven from the theme of Kraven's Last Hunt (my favorite Spidey Story). Upon request, Mr. Zeck added my name and wife's name in a graffiti style heart making it part of the image. Mr. Zeck also added spiderman swinging in the background, which was a nice surprise. This piece is an instant family heirloom. Check out original sketch.

Alfredo, I met with Mike this weekend and mentioned you said hello. He said that this Variant Sketchbook was his favorite by far. It is amazing.

Thanks for the comment Daniel. Coming from Mike Zeck himself, that it was his favorite variant sketchbook he created really means something. This is the type of piece that I would never sell, and pass on to my kids.

I always thought this layout would make a great new Zeck cover when they reprinted the Kraven Saga once more.  I was lucky enough to get an early prelim of this piece from Mike years ago.  Agree, this was one of the best sketches he did for these 2005 sketchbooks.  Hope he gets around to doing the rest of the 25 one of these days (now that it's 15 years later).
