Description

What If...the Avengers Had Become Pawns of Korvac? Mark Gruenwald wrote the story and provided the layouts for Greg LaRocque's finished pencils. Bob Layton inked this page. The vast array of inkers who worked on this issue were assigned pages in which they had an association with the characters featured. So here we see Layton inking Hercules, Iron Man and Galactus, along with Thor, Vision and Wonderman. The large second panel with the towering shot of Galactus is epic. This is considered one of the top 10 Mark Gruenwald comics of all time and one of the best single issue comics of all time. Enjoy!

Nice flow down the page, and that Big G panel's got a Byrne-ish vibe, which is of course a good thing! Congrats!
