Keron was going for a more minimalist approach for this piece. Unfortunately, he had the sketch book upside down when he did it. The addition of the stalactites and the bat was a very humorous attempt to make the sketch work upside down! Let's just call this one the pre-lim for the much tighter second piece he did afterward... (Personally, I think they're both great!)
