A framing page from the upcoming graphic novel: The comic shop manager discovers a third version of the strange comic book. Alex Raymond´s fatal car crash on the cover again, and this time the death scene is explicitly graphic and quite grotesque.
The comic book in question is the third volume of Dave Sim´s planned (and abandoned) IDW Strange Death of Alex Raymond comic book series. As usual, Carson Grubaugh has drawn everything on this page, including all the upper panels and the facsimile of the detailed Sim-drawn cover.
This is page 65 in the limited test edition, and it will also be published in the soon-to-be-released full edition of The Strange Death of Alex Raymond.
