These are rare and highly sought after. Rocket showed more emotion and garnered more sympathy any CGI character had any right to have. The seeds of which came out of his rare early appearances like this that made him a fully formed character. The Mignola art is dense and the Milgrom inks are very sharp for his own standards. Meaning Mike was really giving it his all and Al had to follow his lead.

So sad that it took a blockbuster movie for people to appreciate this series. 80's Mignola goodness. Yummy!

Rocket looks great here, but the old turtoise is just too much fun! Big Congrats on a stellar pick up!

I love the artwork on this series--such great depth and use of black ink. And this remains my favorite visual interpretation of Rocket Racoon. Jealous!

Mignola's imagery is fabulous, and the inks make it really pop.

These are so hard to find! I loved this series when I was a kid. I sold most of my comics but I still have the single issues from this one. In many ways I prefer this period to the Hellboy era. Congrats!

Oh yeah, that's awesome. Almost picked up one of these myself. We sometimes forget these 2 masters worked together on the little known RR '80s mini. "All I wanna do is design toys cuz it's fun." :) Congrats!

I absolutely love this piece. I love seeing all the iterations of Rocket and Groot and thus this really checks a box for me. I haven't had the chance to read it yet and might just have to make it more of a priority.
