There are few Captain America runs as amazing as Mike Zeck's pencils between 1982 and 1984. Back in 1978 was this little known gem... Zeck's first Cap issue! It is definitely his early work, but you can see his understanding of layouts and storytelling. Love that it has Cap in uniform in every panel, set inside the Avengers mansion with his fellow Avengers around the legendary table... plus, Jarvis to boot! And.. what a great nod to Golden Age Cap artist... Al Avison!

Lovely page, with Cap in every panel. The storytelling is superb, with great changes of panel angle and framing. The third panel really feels reminiscent of John Buscema's run; perhaps it's the pose and the rendering of the muscles on Cap's back. Yes, the name checking of Al Avison is an added bonus.
