Description
From the early time of Jim's career comes this adventure into fear with Man-thing !

Paired with Rich Buckler's inks these pages are fascinating and a visual proof of Jim Starlin's skills with a pen & a board !

Here is the climax page and violent outcome.

Huge thanks to the best coolest dude dealer there is on this small planet, the one & only Romitaman !!

What a fun page, with the static angle and super-decompressed movement in the first 6 panels (characteristic of Starlin, I think?), then "eeeaaaagggghhh."

Frozen in fear even as the lumbering behemoth approaches!  The little skulls in the eyes is enough for the audience to imagine the outcome.  Great sequential panels.

That final panel has just run out space for more screaming. So much of the muck monster on show here. Nice page!

There aren't nearly enough opportunities to properly use the words shambolic and implacable, so you have to break them out when you can. Like when describing a Man-Thing page! The little skull pupils look so cool. And this is a perfect moment for our swampy, reality protecting friend. Great page. Congrats!
