It sparks the imagination and pulls your curiosity as to how beautiful a creature like this can exist and what world would it inhabit. It is curled up and in a non threatening manner with a face like a horse adorned with a mane of feathers and flowery colors. A mythical creature that is to be treasured on the canvas and upon our gaze.

This is a beautiful and oddly thought provoking piece. You certainly can't go wrong with a Julie Bell piece as your first and favorite OA. Congratulations! =)

Thanks! Actually, I was set to buy a different piece (a painting of Rogue), but Julie also happened to have "Kirin" with her. "Kirin" won easily.
