I think Beatty really had a handle on the Jones pencils here, and particularly for this nighttime scene. Such superb layout and execution! Maybe a bit wordy, but it helps Batman when the socially ostracized 'villain' is distracted. And it give Todd Klein space to shine, as always.
I wonder what the pencils were like for that third panel.

Great new Batmobile! The exaggerated grotesque faces and body types all mix in with the horror bent the main Batman title took during those years.

Great page from this superb team's really eerie and also very funny long classic run, one of the few gems at DC in the overcrowded 1990s comic waves !
