DescriptionA beautiful brush and ink and watercolor commision piece done by Paul at the 1989 San Diego Comic con. (notice the 'To Jim' dedication above Paul's signautre in the bottom left). I really like the looseness and ease of the brushstrokes and the unique perspective for the composition. Great use of light and shade, too. Love the little added touches, like the two people in the background, on the other side of the river, and the birds flying by, both of which really help to create the illusion of depth. Measures 8 1/2" X 14" on bristol paper.Social/Sharing |
