Description
Featured is a page of rare Allo Allo comic strip art from the youth magazine Fast Forward. It was drawn by the artist Andy Hunt who also did the Bread TV series strip for the magazine too.

The Fast Forward magazine was the competitor to the established Look-in Magazine and ran between 1989-1995. The Allo Allo TV series (1982-1992) strip appeared alongside other popular sitcoms and shows during its seven year run. Also featured was the classic Liverpudlian BBC comedy series Bread. The cult children's series Grange Hill and drama EastEnders, as well as popular American shows such as the cult 1960s cartoon Flintstones and the bikini clad Baywatch.Sadly the date & page number remains unknown?

Gorgeous art here. Looks like a 1990s Saturday morning cartoon on paper! Congrats.

Thanks friend. Yeah, brings back good memories of days long gone.

When I  sourced this page, and may I add it's huge, about 24x 16, honestly didn't realise there was art done for the classic BBC comedy series Allo Allo out there? See, the only memorabilia I had of Allo Allo at the time was series-used scripts, some theater posters etc... So when I saw it for sale, jumped at the chance to buy it, although ironically weeks later sourced another eight pages , all smaller, on thick artist paper. Shall take picks and upload them soon for all to see. 🙂
