Description
Although he made his name with the Ultimates version of Captain America, I prefer Bryan Hitch's version of the original Captain America. Cap's pose is very Kirby-esque. This oversized cover was drawn on a 35 x 50 cm board.

Strong choreography!  Hitch gives Cap the powerful stance like a Gene Kelley going exaggerated full extension with big impact.  All those who oppose his shield must yield!

I agree that you can feel the Kirby influence, although it's also pure Hitch.  This is how covers are supposed to be done!
