Description

This is an odd one. Picked up this original Bernet piece quite a few years ago. It was created for his LIGHT & BOLD graphic novel, but only sort-of used. If you look to the additional images, there's a panel from the book that I think (??) replaced this one. And then I'll also drop in a repo of the front of the book where there's a sketchbook style page of the development of the character of Light, and one of the images of Light is from this panel, with the image of Bold (the big guy) removed. Maybe you can tell on the original, too, but the image of Light is pasted onto the panel, with Bold drawn in the background. So...like I say, a strange piece, with a mix of published and unpublished.

Nice thick brush for the hair and a thinner one for the face. Bernet's ladies get that extra care to show which archetype they fall under.

Beautiful! Always nice to have some hand drawn sound effects in there too!
