DescriptionThe Wrath of the Wrecker!A page by the King that I won on eBay over 20 years ago. Kirby pages always went for decent money even when other art prices were low. However apparently no one but me was seriously interested in this page which only showcased the villain. I recall reading and loving this issue and decided to go after this page. Panel 3 with the Wrecker in all his rage is prototypically Kirby. What is also really cool is that in faint pencils you can see Kirby's suggested dialogue for the page. Social/Sharing |

Fantastic page and cool story about the good old EBay days. Huge congrats.

The Wrecker is a great character design for Kirby to draw. Just interesting enough to stand out. The close up sells the whole page, but the whole city and inhabitants are the stars to me. These are Kirby's people as he is one with them.

Each panel is cool, but I love the chaos and power of the last one most.

Superb Kirby page. And hopefully a relative bargain, but exactly the kind of page I'd want to have. Every panel is gold. Congrats!

Fabulous Kirby page! Kirby was so good on Thor and the Wrecker never looked better than when Kirby drew him! Love that close-up of Wrecter's face! Nice pick-up!

Great page! The close-up face of the Wrecker is superb, and there's plenty of action there. I really enjoyed the backstory to acquiring the page as well.

I'm wrecked. This is awesome. Wrecker is one of my very favorite baddies, and this is a great issue. Everett inks over Kirby pencils are just gorgeous. That third panel is as Kirby as it gets. I wish I was on eBay 20 years ago to put down one more bid. ;) Huge congrats!

Oh man, the entire page is fantastic and the inks are so slick and clean. But that 3rd panel though, is pure magic!
