Marvel Spotlight issue 1 page 26 by Pat Broderick and Bruce Patterson 1979

Broderick's Captain Marvel was a top read for me. Stellerax (shown here) and the other cosmic baddies really were cool to me and this is still my favorite version of Drax. Patterson was also my favorite inker over Broderick so I was very happy to get this page. Here is what C.C has to say:

Marvel Spotlight on Captain Marvel

Beautiful, cosmic, Bronze Age Marvel art by Broderick, with Captain Marvel flying off while Stellerax transforms into something unknown. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.

Artists Information

Pat Broderick is an American comics artist, known for his work on the Micronauts and Alpha Flight for Marvel Comics, and Legion of Super-Heroes, Captain Atom and Green Lantern for DC Comics. Broderick also pencilled the four-part "Batman: Year Three" storyline, written by Marv Wolfman, which detailed the first meeting of Batman and Dick Grayson as well as Tim Drake's first appearance.

Bruce Patterson is an american comic book artist who began working for DC comics as an inker and letterer for Marvel in the late 70's. Over the next two decades he continued his work with the two major publishing houses as an inker/letterer and sometimes penciller, occasionally doing cover art. Bruce's most notable works include Action Comics and the Invincible Iron Man.
