I was a big fan of the Edgar Rice Burroughs series John Carter of Mars. So I was thrilled when Marvel acquired the rights to adapt the series and was blown away by the outstanding art of the series.
One of the most outstanding and consistent things about the series was the inks of Rudy Nebres.
I don't quite recall when I got it but I am guessing it was sometime in the 80's.
There's $40 price on the back and a store stamp Eldorado Comics of Pennsauken, NJ.

Whilke Infantino is not a choice I'd make for the fantasy genre, the highly stylized rendering of Rudy Nebres kept it looking just fine and very consistent. Also, who doesn't love skeletons in comics? Great content!

Infantino provides heroic and big action poses. You can tell that the last two panels have his syle in the way hands gesture and the arm positions. Nebres inks smoothes them out to bring them in line with fantasy epics of the day.
