This page does so well technically with razor precision lines and larger areas of fill that it gives off the powerful effect of the Lanterns that inhabit this space. 

While I have really liked Mahnke inking himself in the past to provide a more rough and rugged feel to his work, I have to agree with you. Alamy truly was the best inker over Mahnke's lines. As you say, it was so clean. It felt crisp and their collaboration also provided the colorist to heighten and elevate them even further as their work jumped off the pages of GL. Theirs was my favorite art along Johns' GL run among MANY fantastic artists who also contributed to it.
