I have the 2011 hardcover collection of Newton's Batman work sitting on my bookshelf in front of me.  It's a crime that DC didn't continue the collections as Newton did such phenomenal work on the character, as evidenced by this page.  

Love this era and style. Beautiful page.

Man, this page really is a beauty! The first panels have fantastic images of Bats and Robin, but I also really like the bottom panels too. Huge congrats!

Wonderful extension on the hurl.  Newton and Alcala Bring the athletic and lean Batman able to visually show the power, agility, stress and strain of a world class athlete.  The meeting of the cabal in the bottom panels!

Newton's run on Batman was great, and Alcala's gorgeous rich inks give this a slick, glossy feel. Nice dynamic page!
