Fantastic Batpage!
This page has it all! Newton and Alcala accomplish magic together, thanks for sharing and happy Batman-Day!
I have the 2011 hardcover collection of Newton's Batman work sitting on my bookshelf in front of me. It's a crime that DC didn't continue the collections as Newton did such phenomenal work on the character, as evidenced by this page.
Love this era and style. Beautiful page.
Excellent selection of images and absolutely brilliant, atmospheric inking by the best Batman inker of the 1980's!
Wonderful page. A great team, indeed.
Man, this page really is a beauty! The first panels have fantastic images of Bats and Robin, but I also really like the bottom panels too. Huge congrats!
Really nice page. Newton & Alcala were a Dynamic Duo of their own!
Loved the art from this team - those Alcala inks are so pretty!
Wonderful extension on the hurl. Newton and Alcala Bring the athletic and lean Batman able to visually show the power, agility, stress and strain of a world class athlete. The meeting of the cabal in the bottom panels!
A killer page from a great issue. Rad artists on this one.
Old school Batarang on the end of a Batrope, who needs that new fangled bat grappling gun?
Nice fluid inks from Alcala here!
I can't believe I didn't comment on this one before. I remember seeing this on Will's site and nearly got it myself. Great page! Love this era of Newton on Batman! I have the page right after it 😉
One of the best combos on Batman for sure, congrats on the next page that one is awesome too~!
My favorite art team on Batman in top form! WOW!
Love the top panels!
Newton's run on Batman was great, and Alcala's gorgeous rich inks give this a slick, glossy feel. Nice dynamic page!
I love this page and the fact that the O.G. Dynamic Duo share three great panels together.
The Alcala inks compliment the Newton pencils so well.
This pages fits well amongst all of the other beauties in your collection!
