DescriptionA Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of Curt Swan and Stan Kaye's cover art to ADVENTURE COMICS #271. Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board.This cover - one of many in ADVENTURE - showed the first meeting of Superboy and Lex Luthor and the Silver Age rationale for his hatred of Superboy/man. The original inking by Stan Kaye was more refined on this cover than many he worked on, and Bruce did a great job of emulating it. Social/Sharing |

A great nostalgic treat for one of the classics of the silver age! This recreation would be great for display to signify personal taste in that era of art and comics.
