Nato a Roma nel 1935 ed appassionato di cartellonismo di cinema frequentò a 15 anni lo studio di De Amicis, a 19 quello di Averardo Ciriello, quindi dai fratelli Nistri. La sua carriera di pittore di cinema si sviluppo principalmente nello studio di Augusto Favalli, dove rimane fino al 1960, anno in cui si trasferisce dalla capitale a Milano, dove rimane fino alla metà degli anni settanta.
Nella metropoli lombarda, realizza moltissime illustrazioni e copertine dipinte per libri e riviste settimanali sia italiane che straniere (principalmente per la britannica Fleetway) .
