Art is by Sam Savitt (1917-2000), a well-known and respected equine artist. Art shows Ben Bowie battling mountain lion that has him pinned to the ground. Art has empty left/right margins, w/left margin having inked title and issue number and stamped printer number in both margins. Pin holes at corners and along left/right margins. Top center of art and left/right just below center have two strips of tape staining, but this blends somewhat. Bottom corner of art also shows some wear. Fine overall, but could be matted for a nice display.
